Features At A Glance

The A121 Range Sensor is based on 60GHz Pulsed Coherent Radar (PCR) technology, enabling human presence and motion detection, supporting high-precision distance measurements. Its detection area and sensitivity parameters are configurable, offering excellent anti-interference capability. The module integrates an Arm Cortex-M4 MCU (STM32L431CBT6), allowing it to either function as a standalone unit with user applications directly deployed on the Acconeer RSS, or communicate with external host controllers via a register command protocol.
It features compact size, low power consumption, and easy integration, suitable for applications such as human presence detection, proximity sensing, contactless triggering, and vital signs monitoring.

  • A121 60GHz Pulsed Coherent Radar (PCR), integrated Baseband, RF front-end, and Antenna, supports human presence detection, micro-motion detection, and high-precision distance measurements

  • Integrated Arm Cortex-M4 MCU (STM32L431CBT6), up to 80MHz frequency, with 128KB Flash and 64KB RAM, supports local radar processing

  • Compact 39 × 39 (mm) dimensions with optimized antenna structure, enabling high gain and stable detection

  • 3.3V IO interface power supply

  • Supports UART, I2C, and GPIO interfaces, outputting radar detection results based on a register protocol

  • Supports behind-plastic or behind-glass installation, enabling reliable operation without additional openings in the enclosure

  • Reserved PCB and SWD pads for RSS and user application development, as well as production line programming and testing

  • Operating temperature: -40°C ~ 85°C, suitable for industrial and harsh environments
