Description

Panel-mount digital PID temperature controller supplied as a ready-to-wire kit: controller, 40 A solid-state relay (SSR) and a 1 m K-type thermocouple probe. The controller drives the SSR, and the SSR switches the AC heater load. Typical uses are electric heaters on tanks and separators, heat-tracing circuits, line heaters, ovens and process baths.

What is in the kit

  • 1 x PID temperature controller, SSR output, with English manual (model as listed by the supplier: REX-C100FK02-V*AN)
  • 1 x 40 A solid-state relay, SSR-40DA type
  • 1 x K-type thermocouple probe, 1 m cable

Controller

  • Control: PID
  • Input: K-type thermocouple
  • Range: 0-400 °C
  • Output: SSR drive (voltage pulse to the SSR)
  • Supply: 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
  • Size: 48 x 96 mm panel format; body length 86 mm or 107 mm (shipped at random, same function and front size)

Solid-state relay

  • Rated output current: 40 A
  • Control input: 3-32 VDC
  • Load voltage: 24-380 VAC

Thermocouple probe

  • Type: K
  • Cable length: 1 m, fiberglass insulation with shielding
  • Probe diameter: 5 mm
  • Thread: M6 x 1
  • Range: 0-400 °C

Installation notes

  • Mount the SSR on a heat sink sized for the load current; SSRs dissipate heat in operation.
  • Size the load circuit, breaker and wiring for the heater current.

Data as listed in the product specification.
