Description

Compact mechanical (bimetallic) thermostat for 35 mm DIN rail, used to switch enclosure heaters or fans in control cabinets, RTU boxes and pump panels. KTO011 has a normally closed (NC) contact for heater control (anti-condensation and freeze protection); KTS011 has a normally open (NO) contact for fan or cooling control. Adjustable setpoint from 0 to 60 °C.

Typical use

• KTO011 switches a panel heater on below the setpoint in winter, keeping PLC, RTU and radio enclosures above freezing and dry.
• KTS011 switches a filter fan on above the setpoint in summer.
• For loads above the contact rating, switch a contactor or relay coil instead of the load.
